Mount Rushmore, Black Hills, Keystone, South Dakota

I know Mount Rushmore is supposed to be a majestic place, but it wasn't all that great this day for me.

1. I woke up at 4am after thinking that I was going to get eaten by whatever was out in the backcountry of Badlands National Park.
2. The abundance (and I mean THOUSANDS) of motorcycles and all the people riding them were a little much. I happened to be there during the week of the Sturgis Bike Rally.
3. The parking for Mount Rushmore cost $10 dollars, and was a parking deck. Just not what I expected.
